Arrest in Watrous - Child Exploitation Unit Investigation
The Saskatchewan Internet Child Exploitation (ICE) Unit has charged a Watrous, SK man with child exploitation-related offences.

On December 10, 2025, the Saskatchewan ICE Unit executed a search warrant at a home in Watrous, SK. Electronic devices were examined at the scene and also seized by investigators.
As a result of the investigation, 68-year old Myles Deitner of Watrous, SK was charged on February 10, 2026, with the following:
- Possession of Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation Material (x2)
Deitner was released on court-imposed conditions. His next court date is on March 24, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. in Saskatoon Provincial Court. Court Information Number: 90560630
The Saskatchewan ICE Unit is comprised of investigators from the RCMP, Regina Police Service, and Saskatoon Police Service. Their mandate is to investigate crimes involving the abuse and/or exploitation of children on the internet.
