Buffalo Plains Cattle Co. - Application for the Approval of Waste Storage and Waste Management

Buffalo Plains Cattle Co. has made application under The Intensive Livestock Provisions of The Agricultural Operations Act for the Approval of Waste Storage and Waste Management Plans for the following Intensive Livestock Operation:
Buffalo Plains Cattle Co. is seeking approval for an increase in cattle feedlot operations consisting of 75,000 feeders, equivalent to 50,000 animal units (AU). The operation currently holds Approval No. 2472 for 16,667 AU. This will result in an increase of 33,333 AU.
Located on over the full section of 26-20-25, approximately 10 kilometers (km) southeast of Findlater, Saskatchewan, in the RM of Dufferin No. 190.
Note: This operation has existing valid approval for cattle operations up to 16,667 AU. This results in an increase of 33,333 AU. Construction will be required to build the new facilities and runoff controls to satisfy the expansion.
