Buffalo Plains Cattle Co. - Application for the Approval of Waste Storage and Waste Management

Buffalo Plains Cattle Co. has made application under The Intensive Livestock Provisions  of The Agricultural Operations Act for the Approval of Waste Storage and Waste  Management Plans for the following Intensive Livestock Operation:  

A cattle feedlot up to 75,000 feeder cattle, equivalent to 50,000 animal units (AU).  

Located on the full section of 26-20-25 W2, approximately 10 kilometers (km) southeast  of Findlater, Saskatchewan, in the RM of Dufferin No. 190.  

Note, this operation currently holds Approval No. 2472 for 16,667 AU. This will result in  an increase of 33,333 AU. Construction will be required to build the new facilities and  runoff controls to satisfy the expansion.
