Saskatchewan NDP Launches Largest Advertising Campaign Outside Of An Election In History, Beck Lays Out Pillars Of Vision For Province's Future
The campaign will run on national and local television and across various social media platforms and comes two years before the next expected provincial election.
"We can do big things in Saskatchewan. We can lead the nation in healthcare like we used to. We can have the best schools, make life affordable for families, make our communities safe and put an end to child poverty once and for all," Beck said. "We can build a diversified and growing economy that provides good jobs and a future for our kids. That's the Saskatchewan I believe in, and that's why I'm running to be Premier."
Saskatchewan has a proud history of punching above its weight, leading the nation with achievements like Medicare and groundbreaking labour laws. Beck says that, after 20 years of the Sask. Party, much of what Saskatchewan people have built is being torn apart, and the province has fallen behind in healthcare, education, public safety and affordability.
"We used to lead the nation. We were a province that dreamed big and delivered big things. But after 20 years of Scott Moe and the Sask. Party, we've gone from first to last in so many areas that matter to Saskatchewan families," Beck said. "It's clear they've been in power for far too long and spend their time wining and dining on private jets while the people back down on the ground are struggling.
We don't have to settle for this any longer. We're halfway to the next election, and I want Saskatchewan people to know that they have a choice. We don't have to accept the status quo. Change is possible, and my team is building a ready-to-deliver plan to make it happen."
The advertising campaign is starting with an initial investment of $100,000, financed by hardworking Saskatchewan NDP members who support Beck's vision for the province.
In the weeks and months ahead, Beck and her team will outline the pillars of that plan, focused on healthcare, education, affordability, safer communities, ending child poverty and building a diversified and growing economy.
