Join the Government of Saskatchewan in celebrating Teacher/Staff Appreciation Week from February 8 to 14, 2026. This year's theme, Building Relationships for a Positive School Culture, recognizes the contributions of teachers, staff, and other education professionals, who foster supportive learning environments and help equip students for success. "Our teachers and school staff work hard all year to deliver high-quality education to the students of Saskatchewan," Education Minister Everett Hindley said. "This week is an opportunity to thank these individuals for the time and energy they commit to ensuring that our students are supported, educated and prepared for the future."

Teacher/Staff Appreciation Week has been celebrated in Saskatchewan for 39 years and is supported by the Saskatchewan Association of School Councils (SASC). "Teacher/Staff Appreciation Week emphasizes the important relationships that teachers and staff have with students, parents and community partners in fostering trust and creating a positive school culture," SASC Director Joy Bastness said. "We appreciate and thank them for building relationships that lead to positive outcomes for students and families."

School divisions, schools and school community councils will be celebrating Teacher/Staff Appreciation Week with activities planned at the school division level throughout the week.
