RM Dufferin 190 - Public Notice NSL Bylaws

Public notice is hereby given that the Council of the RM of Dufferin No. 190 intends to adopt a bylaw under  The Planning and Development Act, 2007 to amend Bylaw No 9-2022 known as the Zoning Bylaw. 

INTENT: 

To amend the Zoning Bylaw by: 

1. Adding Park Model Trailers as a permitted Principal Residential Use in Lakeview area (Units  68 – 229 and 235 – 237) in Buffalo Pound Northshore Resorts only; and 

2. Updating the definition of Park Model Trailer/Unit. 

AFFECTED LANDS: 

All of the lands within the Lakeview area (Units 68 – 229 and 235 – 237) in the Buffalo Pound Northshore  Resorts currently zoned as LD - Lakeshore Development District. 

REASON: 

To provide for the opportunity for Park Model Trailers to be used as a permitted principal use.

PUBLIC INSPECTION: 

Any person may inspect the proposed bylaw at the RM of Dufferin Office, located at 101 Railway Avenue,  Bethune, between the hours of 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., Monday to Friday excluding statutory holidays. Copies of the proposed bylaw are available. 

PUBLIC HEARING 

Council will hold a public hearing on October 8, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. at the RM of Dufferin Council Chambers to hear any person or group that wants to comment on the proposed bylaw. Council will also consider written comments received by October 5, 2026, via email to development@dufferin190.ca, regular mail to the RM of Dufferin Office at PO Box 67, Bethune SK S0G 0H0 or you may personally drop off your response letter to the RM Office.
