- Buffalo Effigy honors Indigenous Ancestors
Regina Beach multidisciplinary artist, Carol Rose GoldenEagle, along with grades 7 & 8 students from South Shore Elementary laid the stones to create a public art installation.
More than 500 stones are now arranged in the image of a buffalo. The outer stones painted white, accentuating the sculpture, making it easily visible from the highway, as residents and visitors drive into the Town of Regina Beach.

The former Colvin property, this land is in trust and is now administered by the Nature Conservancy of Canada. Funding the project was, in part, provided with the assistance of SK Arts.
