Town of Southey - Public Notice

Public notice is hereby given that the Council of the Town of Southey intends to amend Bylaw No. 01-2019 Known As The Zoning Bylaw. 

INTENT

The proposed Bylaw No. 03-2025 will amend the current Bylaw No. 01-2019 Zoning Bylaw by rezoning proposed Parcel A and B Plan 102010396 on the attached plan Highway Commercial (2) District. 

REASON

The current Zoning Bylaw has doesn't meet the request for rezoning Parcel A and B Plan 102010396. 

PUBLIC BYLAW INSPECTION

Any person may inspect Bylaw 03-2025 at the Town Office, 260 Keats Street from Thursday, December 18, 2025 - Tuesday, December 23, 2025 between the hours of 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. Office is closed on weekends. 

PUBLIC HEARING

Council will hold a public hearing on December 23, 2025 at 6:30 p.m. at the Town Office, 260 Keats Street to hear any person or group that wants to comment on the proposed bylaw. Council will also consider written comments received at the hearing or delivered to the undersigned at the Town Office before the hearing.
