In hockey-mad Canada, fans spend their time watching hockey, thinking about hockey, talking about hockey and mentally planning Canada’s roster for the 2026 Olympic Games in Italy. Only a couple of weeks remain before the Dec. 31 deadline for Hockey Canada to submit its roster and while a number of players’ names are automatic, a couple of others are subject to quite the controversy.
