God Bless Us, Everyone
And they all said Amen!

You know, but for the grace of our Almighty God, we could be Ukraine, Sudan or Gaza! But, we’re not. We are Canada, home of the true north, strong and free. Have we given God our loving thanks for His blessings, grace and mercy?
Thank you, Lord!
This is truly a special time of year – Advent – a time of preparations to celebrate the birthday of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Chriat. In all our festivities let’s not forget the “reason for the season”. When we sign cards or send messages, please, do not put X for Christ in “Merry Christmas”. Christ is not an “unknown”. He left the glories of His heavenly home to be born in a lowly manger to grow up, suffering the pains and joys of human life. He, willingly, gave His life on a cruel cross for our sins so we can trust a living Saviour for eternal life. (Matthew 1-3, John 1)
Thank you, Lord.
As we gather this Christmas, and all times, let us pause for at least a moment and give thanks for family, friends, food and eternal salvation. Pray for the sick and lonely. Pray for all in authority for God’s wisdom, knowledge and understanding. They, truly, need us! God’s admonition – 1Timothy 2:2 Pray…. for kings and all in authority….
(Proverbs 15:8b) “The Lord delights in the prayers of His people.”
God bless us, everyone! (Charles Dickens)
Merry Christmas!
