Lumsden RCMP respond to water-related death on Regina Beach

 Officers attended, along with local EMS. A child was located in the water and declared deceased by EMS at the scene. He has been identified as an 8-year-old male. His family has been notified.

 The Saskatchewan Coroners Service has taken carriage of the investigation.

 This is considered a sudden death investigation. As there is no element of criminality, we will not be releasing any further details.
