FAQs:

• When is the last day the Nokomis location will be open? May 15, 2026. We will be posting updates and more information clearly at the pharmacy entrance and on our social media page. 
• Where will my prescription records go? By default, your files will be securely moved to our  sister locations at Lanigan Pharmacy or Strasbourg Pharmacy to ensure your care continues  without interruption. You can choose your Pharmacy. This allows you to use the new Nokomis  Depot immediately. While we hope to continue serving you, you always have the choice to use  the pharmacy of your preference. If you would like to move your records to a different pharmacy  outside of our network, simply have that pharmacy contact us, and we will transfer your  prescriptions. 
• How does the Nokomis Depot work? The depot keeps pharmacy services local: 

1. Order: Call the pharmacy or use the PharmaConnect app to request your refill.
2. Fill: A pharmacist at Lanigan or Strasbourg will review and fill your prescription.
3. Pick Up: You can pick up your prescription at your chosen location, or your medication will be delivered in a secure package to the current location in Nokomis for you to collect, you decide!

• How do I get the TELUS PharmaConnect app? You can download the app for free from the  Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Once downloaded, search for "Lanigan Pharmacy" or "Strasbourg Pharmacy" to link your account.

• Can I still access Minor Ailment prescribing? Yes. Our pharmacists are licensed to provide Minor Ailment Services. If you have a common condition (such as a cold sore, uncomplicated  UTI, or seasonal allergies), you can consult with our pharmacists via phone. If a prescription is required, we can process it and send it to the Nokomis Depot for you.
