Municipal By-Election

PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that provisions have been made for advance voting to benefit voters who believe that they will be unable to vote on election day, which is  May 20, 2026.

Advance voting will take place on:

Monday, May 11, 2026
3:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Lumsden Municipal Office – 300 James Street North 
Lumsden, SK

Please remember that Voters are required to provide proof of identity. 

Voting will be for the office of:   COUNCILLOR

Mail-In Ballots

The Town of Lumsden is offering an opportunity to vote by using a Mail-In Ballot.  To request a Mail-In Ballot, you must submit a ‘Voter’s Registration Form’ and a ‘Declaration of Person Requesting the Mail-In Ballot’.  These documents, which are available on the website (www.lumsden.ca) must be submitted no later than Wednesday, April 22, 2026.  For more information, please contact the Returning Officer in person (300 James Street North, Lumsden) or by email at     m.merkosky@lumsden.ca
