"Saskatchewan producers rely on access to agricultural Crown land to support their operations and grow their businesses," Agriculture Minister David Marit said. "By moving to an ongoing allocation model, we are providing a transparent and accessible process that better aligns lease opportunities with producer needs and supports a strong and competitive agriculture sector."
The new approach creates a more responsive lease allocation process by offering eligible agricultural Crown land, including expired leases, as they become available, rather than through a single annual offering. Online lease allocations ensure fair access and public transparency by treating all agricultural producers equally. Interested bidders must meet the eligibility requirements. Lease opportunities will be posted online at saskatchewan.ca/crownlands and mcdougallauction.com
