Southey RCMP asking the public to report sightings of Darcy Longman

In August 2026, Southey RCMP conducted a proactive traffic stop on Highway #6. During the traffic stop, officers observed a firearm in plain view inside the vehicle. As a result of investigation, Southey RCMP determined that the firearm had been illegally sold. The firearm was seized by police.

As a result of further investigation into the illegally sold firearm, 54-year-old Darcy Longman from George Gordon First Nation has been charged with firearms trafficking and possession of a firearm contrary to order.

A warrant has been issued for Darcy Longman's arrest. Southey RCMP continue work to locate him and ask the public to report sightings and information on his whereabouts.

Darcy Longman is described as:

Height: 5 ft 11 in
Weight: 190 lbs
Eye colour: brown
Hair colour and style: grey
Other descriptors: multiple tattoos, including a bear paw on his left hand, a heart on his left thumb, and a pipe and smoke on his left forearm.

He also goes by the name 'Darcy Hall'.

Darcy Longman is known to travel to the George Gordon First Nation and Regina areas, but his current whereabouts are unknown.

Southey RCMP continue to investigate.
