Obituary - Sulma, Doris V. Sulma

1943-2024

On Friday, March 8th, 2024, Doris V. Sulma passed away at the age of 80. She was predeceased by her parents, Frank and Cora Herman, her first husband, David Bonish and her second husband, Alfred Sulma. Doris is survived by her son Hobbart Bonish, her sister Donna Singer (Brian, deceased), brothers Garry (Susan )and Lyle (Karen) Herman, as well as many nieces and nephews.

In her early life, Doris played piano at her church which lead several jobs in the music business such as Swinging Sam's The Record Man and Hatton's Music in Regina. When she wasn't grooving she could be found at curling events or snowmobile races.

Doris retired from the Cupar Union Hospital and afterwards opened Cottonwood Blossoms florist shop. Doris spent endless hours in her garden and stained glass studio. She consistently contributed beauty to this world and will be dearly missed.

A graveside service will be held for both Doris and Alfred at the Earl Grey Cemetery on June 16th at 1 pm. Everyone is welcome to attend.
